Meet Inspector Alan Munger
I am a residential home inspector, commercial and industrial building inspector, insurance surveyor, and journeyman electrician with over 25 years in the trades, as well as 4 years in law enforcement. I hold a journeyman wireman certification as well as 23 certifications in inspection specialties and an FAA part 107 UAV license for commercial drone operations.
With a solid background in the trades, a handle on multiple aspects of the insurance business, many contacts in both industries, and an educated eye, I offer a unique inspection experience unmatched by others in my field.

There is an unfortunate disconnect and lack of trust between the insurer and the insured, which can ultimately result in higher premiums, denied claims, and cancelled policies. The insured sometimes loses a policy and has to find another while the insurer loses monthly, yearly, and often times decades long premiums.
I’m attempting to repair this situation by providing insight into what the insurance companies are looking for and how they asses risk when issuing a policy or re-evaluate at renewal. With foresight into the property condition, educated decisions can be made for correction before an issue arises. This potentially saves both insurer and insured money, while providing value, and peace of mind.

When I first step foot on your property, my eye is searching for hazards that will put you at higher risk in the eyes of an insurance company. That’s my first instinct. Being keenly aware of the growing list of insurance “hazards”, I’ll identify any issues or concerns that I find, we can discuss them, and they’ll also be included in your report for further review.
I can also assist with claims by documenting damages, and repairs made if required.

Similar to the methodology of inspection practice for the insured, I do the same for you. I discover the hazards that you are looking for and that most home and commercial inspectors aren’t even aware of and can't report on. With thousands of insurance surveys under my belt, and a desire for extreme detail, I am the most complete inspector that you need on your team to make the best financial decisions when writing or renewing policies. I will help you assess risk.
I’m also FAA licensed to operate my Autel Alpha enterprise drone, which has amazing zoom capabilities to capture details not seen with most cameras, as well as a laser for measurements, and two separate infrared cameras on board for the ultimate research tool. For storm damage assessment I don’t believe that there is a better drone and cameras set up on the market. In times of unfortunate disaster, and when claims rise as a result, utilize my services and law enforcement knowledge as a tool to combat fraud.
